About the project

Fermented Flavours is a series of events dedicated to people passionate about fermentation, whether they are just beginning or already experienced. Through hands-on workshops, community gatherings, and sensory explorations, we aim to rediscover fermentation together as a living, traditional, and deeply beneficial process for both people and the environment.

Fermentation is more than a preservation method; it is a form of collaboration between people and beneficial microorganisms through which we extend the life of food, develop new flavors, support our health, and maintain a connection with traditions and the land.

Through this project, we aim to bring this knowledge into the present within a community-based, open, and interactive setting.

Objectives

  • promoting fermentation as an accessible and sustainable practice
  • creating spaces for learning and intergenerational exchange
  • encouraging connection with food, nature, and community
  • supporting food autonomy and a conscious relationship with food

Results

  • organizing hands-on fermentation workshops
  • developing a community interested in living food and natural processes
  • sharing practical knowledge applicable to everyday life

About the project

Sustainability in a Jar is a recurring gathering format focused on food preservation through simple, traditional, and environmentally friendly methods. Whenever the earth offers an abundance of produce, we come together to (re)discover traditional practices such as fermentation, pickling, dehydration, and preservation in oil, salt, or vinegar.

These gatherings are spaces for relaxed learning and open dialogue, where we talk about how to preserve the flavors of the seasons, reduce food waste, and build a more conscious relationship with what we eat. We taste seasonal preparations, exchange ideas, ask questions, and discuss food autonomy, natural rhythms, and old practices that can be brought back to life.

Objectives

  • sharing useful knowledge that is easy to apply in everyday life
  • reducing waste by responsibly preserving surplus food
  • encouraging a direct connection with local ingredients and the seasons
  • upporting a balanced, local, and regenerative approach to food

Results

  • organizing themed gatherings focused on food preservation
  • increasing interest in sustainable food practices
  • building a community centered around local and responsible food practices

About the project

Dinner in the Garden is an open-air community gathering space where we come together around the table to share flavors, ideas, and presence. Through diverse themes, we explore the relationship between food, culture, and community in an informal, vibrant, and nourishing setting.

Each edition highlights a different culinary theme — from fermentation and seasonal recipes to local ingredients — and features a potluck-style dinner where participants contribute dishes, stories, or curiosities. Dinner in the Garden is about co-creation, exchange, and slowing down; a simple act of being together with care for nature, resources, and one another.

Objectives

  • cultivating a space for reconnection through food and dialogue
  • encouraging the exchange of recipes, experiences, and sustainable food practices
  • supporting local initiatives and seasonal ingredients
  • strengthening community bonds in a warm and informal setting

Results

  • organizing themed community dinners
  • strengthening relationships between participants
  • creating an open space for exchange and community co-creation
